Last Tuesday members of the System Navigation team attended the City of Kingston Municipal Accessibility Advisory Committee 2013 Access Awards.  As the ceremony began and nomintees were listed, we heard of the many creative and compassionate ways that individuals and organizations had responded to better accomodate the needs of individuals with disabilities.  It was truly an honour to be included amongst them, and even more to be recognized by the committee with the 2013 Access Award.

Sharing in our success includes the Regional Community Brain Injury Services Service Coordinators, Neuropsychologist, Program Manager, and Secretary, as well as myself as System Navigator.  We truly fuction as a team and each person contributes in a vital way.  We can only hope that we will live up to the honour bestowed upon us and truly provide exemplary services for those living with ABI.  For more information, visit http://www.thewhig.com/2013/12/03/providence-care-picks-up-accessibility-award
