This training event held June 11 and 12 in Toronto, is  a fabulous opportunity for anyone involved in helping survivors and their families understand the effects of brain injury.  The workshop is available in a one or two day format.  These interactive workshops focus on enhancing clinical skills in assessment, engagement and intervention with families of persons who have sustained an acquired brain injury (ABI). The workshops will be of interest to case managers, social workers, psychologists, nurses, OTs, PTs, SLPs, rehabilitation counselors or clinicians in general practice who are interested in learning more effective ways to work with families after adult or pediatric ABI.

Workshop Objectives:
• Develop skills in family assessment
• Acquire tips for engaging clients and families after ABI
• Learn skills for successful interactions with families after ABI
• Learn clinical intervention strategies, case problem solving, and evaluation techniques
