Summary
Mary-Ellen is a registered speech-language pathologist providing assessment and treatment for individuals with mild to severe traumatic brain injury. Therapy may include language therapy, speech therapy or cognitive-communication therapy, and is designed to support community reintegration.
Communities Served
Mary-Ellen provides service throughout the 401 corridor from Cobourg to Kingston which includes the towns of Colbourne, Brighton, Trenton, Belleville, Napanee and Kingston. As well, she provides service in Prince Edward County and travels north through Hastings County to Bancroft and area.
Accreditation/Regulatory Body
Yes, regulated by College of Audiologists and Speech-language Pathologists of Ontario Mary-Ellen is a registered with CASLPO, CASLPA and holds her CCC (ASHA). All staff working with Mary-Ellen are registered by their respective colleges and report to Mary-Ellen after each visit.
Specialized Training
Mary-Ellen has over 20 years experience servicing individuals with acquired brain injury. She holds her Cognitive Communication Disorders Certificate, both Levels 1 and 2 from OSLA. As well, she was recognized as “Professional of the Year” by OBIA in 2010
