Pre-regesterd and Short Term Online Support Groups

Registration is mandatory. This program is designed and facilitated by a Registered Social Worker. You will be part of a group that is designed to provide a safe space to share your stories and vulnerabilities without fear of judgement.

 

During these sessions:

  • You’ll discuss changes that occur after acquired brain injury
  • You’ll have a chance to share your experiences, exchange ideas
  • You’ll learn effective strategies for managing stress

Caregiver Group Schedule (8 weeks):

 

  • Parents Group: Tuesday, January 14 – March 4, 2025: 11 am – 12 pm EST

 

Following the program, members have ongoing access to OBIA’s Support Services, which provide additional emotional support and client advocacy. Group members are also connected with OBIA’s eLearning Support Tool for Caregivers.

Neurorehabilitation: Assisting Recovery & Function in Everyday Life Following Brain Injury (Level 1)


This 4-day Certificate Training Program will provide you with essential strategies and interventions to support individuals with acquired brain injury (ABI) effectively. Please click here for more information,
